Question question for tranny techs

doing my first oil change on a 02 screw 5.4 4x4 FX4, I noticed slight amount of trans fliud around the gasket so I took it to the dealer and they said pan gasket leaking and replaced it. My problem is that now , I can hear the trans whining at low speed, whereas before I never noticed it. Does anyone know if the new fliud needs to thin up or if theres an additive they might have missed. It has about 100 miles on since the change.
thx

i think it is "normal" for the 4r70w to whine in low gear. you prolly just didn't notice it before... sorta reminds me of the old C6 tranny whine.
