Best Tranny Cooler...Recomendations???
Got my first Ford truck in DEC '01, 2000 XLT Supercab,24,000 mi., 4.6, Auto., 3.08 LS, Ford bedliner, Island Blue / Silver (Nice color).
It now has 26,000 mi., (I'm a Minnesotan living in Florida and get to ride my bikes most of the time...yeah!!!), I've added some things since I bought it to get it ready for my annual trip to Sturgis, SD ... K&N filter(always & on everything), a Tornadoe(??), a Hidden Hitch, a Gibson Catback 2>1, bug deflector, a Harley grille, dark tinted windows, Air Lift system with an on-board compressor, a Jason "Cyber Drive" cab-high cap (REALLY NICE!, color matched & has no exposed window frames on the sides or on the back), Ford Contemporary OEM running boards, and some other small cosmetic odds & ends. The last thing that I want to put on before I leave from Florida in August is a good transmission cooler, (the BEST if possible). Like everything else, I'm Going to install it myself, so I want that to be a consideration. I'd really appreciate some good feedback, I'm Sturgis bound and Glencoe's expecting us...YEAH!!! HarleyF150

HI!... I did'nt like the factory tranny cooler or the spot where they mounted it, behind the front bumper, no air flow. I replaced it with a 10" X 14" aluminum PERMA-COOL tranny cooler and mounted a SUMMIT 10" electric fan to it.
