TransGo Shift Kit Install

Just got my shift kit yesterday ... delivered UPS from bulkparts.com. Turns out I got the "professional version", no video and the directions aren't the clearest. I'm studying them long and hard, but any suggestions will be appreciated.

I saw that kit also on the bulk part web site. I live in dallas and for 57 bucks I might be able to do without the video instead of paying 100 for the full kit. Let me know if you get it in. Also were you interested in putting that Sonnax valve in? If so did that bulk parts people sell that also? I would like to get both...

Just installed my Trango this weekend. Got the full blown kit with the video. I hope the paper instructions with your kit are better than the ones that came with mine. I had to refer to both the video and the paper instructions because there were differences in my trans to the one on the video and the paper instructions don't explain jack on how to take the valve body out. Between the paper instructions and the video I got it all figured out. I already had a Superchip so my shifts were pretty firm compared to stock. Now the shifts are really firm but not too harsh. I like it. Got a nice 1-2 chirp last night, surprized me.

Haven't done mine yet..... haven't had a free day in too long! A member of f150world loaned his video to me and I've talked to TransGo tech support already. I have the Helm manual on CD so that should also help with removing and replacing parts.

The link is where I got mine from. Be aware, that this is the kit they sell to shops and not the one for consumers.
