Looking for a shift kit to use in my 97 F150, 4.2L V6. Like to be able to still maintain smooth shifts unless I really put my foot into it....Help!!

 

My Transgo came in today. I'll hopefully get it installed next week. It's about the most recommended kit I've seen. 3 settings, V6, V8 or V10 then diesel. Each one being firmer than the other. I've heard of some going with "diesel" because it's the firmest. I'm going to go with "V8 or V10".

I'm really anxious to get it installed then tow my boat to see what it's like. Of course I'll get more enjoyment when I'm not towing I'm sure!
