Sorry this isnt related to an f150 but my wifes t-bird needs a new tranny. I dont know exactly what is wrong with it but it feels like it pops out of overdrive when it gets good and hot at normal operating temp. I dont know if it would be better for me to purchase a new transmission or to have this one rebuilt. Can anyone give me any information about this? She wants a new one because she thinks that would be better than a rebuild. Is a rebuilt as good as a brand new one? Also is there a big difference in the price?
