I have a 1998 F-150, 4.6 motor, auto tranny. When I'm slowing down from overdrive speed, around 40 mph, the truck shudders before going into third gear. I only have 35,000 miles.

I've had the tranny flushed and the filter changed which didn't help.

Any clues?
