I have a C4 tranny that was originally 4wd. The transfer case is gone. It is going into a 2wd truck. Do i need to fine a new transfer case to hang on there or can a bolt up a tailshaft to the end of the tranny. Where would i get a tailshaft from?

I'm not sure about the c-4, but on a 4R100/E4OD you can change the extension housing and the output shaft and you're good to go.
