Transmission rebuild??

2001 f150 4.6 triton v8 automatic 307k miles.
Truck started hesitating taking off from a stop so I checked fluid and it looked dark and smelled kind of burnt. So I changed filter and flyid replaced with Mercon V. For 2 days and approximately 40 miles of driving she ran good no hesitation. 3rd day started up drive around till engine warmed up then started slipping from a stop in drive had to put her in 2nd then go till I hit 10mph then shift back to D. Took it Trans shop and they gave me several codes. P0500, 1832, 1824, 1284, P1783, and said I had a cylinder misfire in 5,7 and 8. I have no check engine light on and she does run a little bit rough at idle. The only major work I've done is the timing chain and guides which I didn't do personally a shop did cause where I live we're not allowed to work on your vehicles. So I just need an idea of what's going on and if I can fix the issues and save having to get Trans rebuilt. This truck is my baby and miss driving her as well I can't work till she's fixed, so any advice please.
Thanks for any and all advice.

I might be tempted to try some trans fluid additive that is supposed to stop slipping.......

I've always read that using those kind of additives can do more damage. But at this point might as well try. Thanks

You need to fix the misfires - you may be due for spark plugs and/or coils. You may have dirty fuel injectors, put some Techron in the gas. If you pull the plugs, do a compression test. Dark burnt transmission fluid usually means the transmission is on its last legs.

Trans rebuild??

Took to transmission shop pulled codes 1832, 1823, 1783 for transmission all are circuit failures or malfunctions so does that require rebuild or can those circuits or relays sensors be replaced ?? I've replaced the plugs and COPs the rear speed sensor and both front abs/wheel speed sensors as well as the OSS on transmission I haven't driven her anywhere to see if other codes have gone yet. Will be doing that tomorrow to take to a different shop to run codes for Trans since last place charged me 125 bucks. So any advice greatly appreciated.
