Hey so my f150 has been having 4x4 problems, i have the eletrical switch by the way, while I'm driving, my 4wd will turn on randomly and slowly grinding the teeth inside the transfer case. I replaced the solenoids and Checked the vacuum it's all fine idk why it's doing it! The only way I can get it back into 2wd is if I turn the engine off and disconnect the battery. Anyone know what it might be? Or how to fix it?

 

Did you replace the transfer case shift motor?

I recommend Motorcraft for the replacement.
