I got into some mud towing a trailer. Lost reverse gear. I didn’t hear a loud pop or anything. I believe the transmission warning light came on the dashboard or whatever that wrench symbol means. I have code P0722, transmission output speed sensor, but no check engine light. So I have all gears and it drives fine in overdrive. It works fine in manual 1 and 2 and the engine brakes itself in those gears as well. Is it possible it’s something other than the reverse band or sun cone gear weld? It has the proper fluid level and I changed the fluid/filter about 2 years ago around 70-75k miles. It has around 95k miles now. Thanks for any help

 

Speedometer and odometer working correctly?

 

Speedometer works fine. Haven’t really looked at odometer other than it’s still there around 95k miles. It’s not blank or anything.
