Additional Trans Repairs While Down
I have a 2010 F150 XLT with a 6R80 with 118,000 miles. In the next few months I will be dropping the entire trans to replace the Pump Assembly Inner Seal and Pump Assembly Outer Seal due to a slight leak at the bell housing. I am looking for recommendations on any additional items to inspect/replace/clean while I have it down. I have already replaced the Bulkhead Connector Sleeve, the Pump Pass-thru Bridge Seal, and of course the fluid, filter and pan gasket at the time. Those latest repairs were only 4,000 miles ago. . That makes me wonder if I should go ahead and replace the torque converter and/or the TCC solenoid while I have it down. Please give me any and all suggestions/thoughts on the torque converter idea or anything additional. Thank you.
