OD light blinking

The OD light has started to blink all the time. So far, tranny is working ok, but I’m sure something needs to be fixed. Any ideas? It’s a 1999 F150 4.6L 4x4

I have an idea! Read the codes.

Without codes, all I can tell you is to replace the part that is causing the problem.

Potential causes for this code to set are:

Faulty transmission range sensor
Misadjusted transmission shift cable/linkage
Damaged wiring
Misadjusted range sensor
(Rarely) PCM or TCM failure
