Help

I have a 1995 Ford F-150 xlt 5.8 v8 with the e4OD trans and it’s goes into every gear fine but when I come to a stop it slips out of gear and when I give it a little gas it goes back into gear...also when It shifts into 2nd gear I lose a little bit of power and it shudders a little bit then it’s fine when it hits 3rd gear and my check engine light comes on. any idea what could cause this? Or is the tranny giving out

Read the codes. The check engine light means there are codes stored that will help figure out what's wrong.

Here is one way to do it: www.troublecodes.net/ford
