Transmission Help

Ive got an 04 F150 Lariat 4x4(new body style) with 115k stock tranny. I have noticed a small ATF leak comming from the inspection port of the bell housing, i believe that it is the seal for the pump. But i have noticed a slight loss in power and shifting, since i would have to remove the transmission to fix the leak im thinking about rebuilding the transmission and installing a shift kit as well. Should i use a performance rebuild kit with the shift kit? And should i buy a new/reman converter? Please add anything that would help with the longevity and performance.

ALWAYS replace the converter when rebuilding a transmission. Also flush the cooler lines.

Thanks for the input, should i spend the extra money on the performance clutches though? And if i dont use performance clutches will the shift kit affect the stock/OEM style clutches?
