P1740 and OD flashing

Hey guys so I have a 2001 F150 super crew 4x4 with the 4.6 with the 4r70w transmission that has a code p1740.
Had the code p0740 a few days ago without OD flashing on and off. I replaced the tcc solenoid and it drove fine for a day and now the OD is flashing, shifts hard and has P1740 "inductive signature malfunction"
Did I mess up the harness in there? I wasn't able to remove the harness because one side wouldn't pop off so I just moved it up and out of the way so I could replace the tcc solenoid.

I plan on going back into it to check it out but just wanted to get any suggestions before hand.

thanks

It sounds like the harness.

It's not the harness. The ONLY way that code can set is if the solenoid sticks. The harness can't make the solenoid stick.

Is there anything that would make it stick other than just being a faulty part? Because it's brand new but it's a power torque brand

Either a faulty part or contamination in the trans fluid caused the new solenoid to stick.
