Hello folks,

I always came here for advice, decided to join since I'm always working on my truck. I have a 04 F150 FX4. Nice truck, just high maintenance. Anyways, I went to do transmission fluid and filter change tonight and found some gasket needing replacing. No big deal. Then I found a line that's cracked and easily pulled off a nipple in the transmission pan. I have no clue where it goes, I'm guessing it's the tubing for the dip stick, but don't have the capabilities to drop everything to check. Maybe someone can shed some light on this?

I believe that is a breather tube, but I am not 100% sure. Is it 4r70w trans? I can say for sure it isn't a dipstick tube
