Transmission was working fine. Backed outa the driveway and shifted to forward gear and nothing. Revved engine to 3,000 and trans went solid into gear. Drive it for miles and shifts perfect. Let idle in gear and pulled out no problem. Put in park and then drive and had same issue. Revved engine to 3G trans went into gear and drive perfect. Reverse works as should. Changed filter and fluid and has same symptoms. As long as I leave it in forward gear trans works perfect.

 

Forward clutch is failing... time for a rebuild.
