4R75E replacement

I have a 2010 F150 4.6 litre that needs a new transmission. Does anyone know which model years will work in my truck?

I would think any 4R75E from 2004-2010 will work. You won't find too many of them behind a 4.6, it was used mostly with 5.4's.

There were some changes in 09. I would use an 09 or 10.

But, 4x4 or not? That could change things some.

You are only going to find a 4R75E out of an 09 or 10 F-150 behind a 4.6 2 valve - the 4.6 3 valve and 5.4 went to the 6R80 and the Super Duty had the 5R110. It also has to be the same drive type - 4x2 or 4x4 - as Darrin mentioned. If it's 4x2, I think you can also find the 4R75E in gas E-vans from 09 to the end of production last year.

What's the other option - a Crown Vic?
