Hi all. I have an 05 with the 4 speed 4x4 and I changed oil last weekend. I flushed engine with diesel fuel to clean pan out just for cleaner oil. I get it all changed back outta shop and trans fault and o/d light come up shut truck off restart runs great. Took for a drive trans shifts great (I had it rebuilt about 7000kms ago). Checked my harness, connectors and fluid level all are tight and full when running. Have no faults showing. Trans fault comes on for 30 secs then off yet truck drives great. Please Help as it's my only wheels and I don't want to have to wreck this one

 

The best way any of us can help would be to know the code that is being stored as it reports an error. To get this you are going to have to get to a shop or a dealer that has a scanner that can read transmission error codes. Most places that offer free code scanning, like auto parts stores, cannot.
