Horrible whine

Hello all I'm new to the forums and f150s

I have done a good search for my issues however I haven't felt I have found my problem.

I bought my 2009 f150 4 months ago. 4.6 3v 4x4. I do a lot of highway driving I have put on 40k since and it's now at 217k kms

Truck was working flawless till coming home on a long drive last night. I noticed a loud whine while accelerating only. I started to investigate .

At first it was only at highway speed but now it can be heard from 20kmh to 140kmh. After 140 you can't hear it but maybe do to wind but the truck starts to vibrate quite a bit which it didn't do before.
You can hear it change its tone and get louder when going over bumps while on the throttle (I assume more force on whatever is making the noise )

When coming to a stop it will make a real low pitch whine and almost a grinding sound from 30kmh to 10kmh

It makes no noise in 1st gear. Only in 2 3 and drive
It make no noise in 4wd
It won't shift out of 4wd on the fly anymore. I have to come to a stop.
I can hear it if I do a burnout while staying still (on ice)
And finally my steering seems stiff but still smooth

All fluids look and smell good
No cel

Any ideas?

Does the noise sound like its behind you? If so, pretty good chance it's your pinion going bad. If so, fix it now before it goes out. I learned that the hard way on one of my past trucks.
