Stalls when stopping or goin into reverse e4od auto 5.0 4x4

Ok so here's the jist of the situation lads. It's a 94 ext f150 4x4 with the e4od in it. I replaced the trans about a year ago now and haven't driven the truck really too much since because it is stalling when switching to reverse or coming to a stop. I've come to the conclusion its either my torque converter isnf disengaging or mh IAC is clogged or the trans filter is sitting at the bottom of the pan. Which I've been told can cause this. If anyone has any idea which is my best bet and should address what first please shout out. I love this truck to death but its started go really get to me.

First thing to check is the trans fluid level. Over or under filled can do this.

You could put a 0-350 PSI pressure gauge in the test port and see if line pressure dips just before the stall.

how much we talking over or under filled because it says it's at proper fluid level according to the stick

Are you checking it when warmed up with the engine running in Park?

If it is in the proper range it's fine.

Next step is a pressure gauge to see if the trans is losing pressure.
