Hey guys. I just finished up my truck. Went from a 4r70w that was on its way out to the m5od with a fresh rebuild on it. My question is, what can I do about the check engine codes? I have been talking to a guy who writes custom tunes, he is not 100 percent sure it will work. I don't really want to spend 500 bucks if it won't work. So if I get a pcm from a 1999-2003 4x4 4.6 5 speed truck, will it work? And what else would I need to make it work if anything? Any input would be great!

Remove the transmission range selector from the automatic and plug it back into the transmission harness. Make sure it is in neutral, and tape it up out of the way.
