Manual Transmission - Do I have a clutch problem?

1995 F250 with 5.8, manual 5spd and 142,000 miles. I've had the truck for about 6 months now. When going through the gears, there is a lag, more like a jerkiness, noticeable mostly while accelerating in 3rd, 4th and 5th. However, once RPM's come into the power band, it will smooth out. 1st and 2nd gears are fine. The truck goes into and out of gear without any problems. Since I have owned the truck, I have replaced the fuel filter, TPS and usual maintenance. No check engine light to indicate problems. Just wondering if my clutch is starting to go out.

If the rpm's don't vary the clutch is not slipping, it's probably a misfire or fuel delivery problem. Time for spark plugs, maybe wires, dist cap and rotor? I'd throw some Techron in the gas to help clean the injectors.
