I read a few older post but couldn't seem to find my answer I think, I took the vaulve body down found all the pieces of the broke snap clip and replaced it, never took the over drive servo out(held it up with a jack).Reassembled and filled it with 8 quarts of mercon v fluid. The problem I'm now having is its not going into gear and won't let me shift past Nuetral. Almost feels like it wants to drive forward in reverse and park. Any idea what I could have done wrong or could I have not put enough fluid in?

When you put the valve body back in did you get the linkage into the right slot on the manual valve?

When it's assembled properly it should look like the pic in the following link.
