Will I notice an actually diffence with LS or E locker?
I bought a factory limited slip from the local junk yard off a 2003 f150 for 53$ I put new carrier bearings on it and installed it myself it's easy I did it in about 3 hours just time consuming and making sure you torque everything to spec. Just take the wheels off both calipers and rotors, drain the fluid, remove the center pin bolt and slide the pin out, then slide each axle in a pull the C clips and slide the axles out, then remove both of the bearing caps make sure you keep them on each side the arrows point outward, then the carrier will come out and keep each shim on the same side it came from, then swap the ring gear to the new carrier and slap her back in as long as you use the factory shims the backlash should be the same it's good to check it but the gear mesh will be the same if you arnt messing with the pinion. My limited slip works great it helps a lot the difference in a limited slip and a open is more than I expected I rarely have to use 4wd than when I had a open I used it all the time from that one wheel spinning. I hope this helps! Let us know how it goes!
