Shifter interlock solenoid, Center shifter prob.

so I have a 04 FX4, the Shifter interlock solenoid is shot, I have to push the little white button every time now to shift it out of park. does any one know if the Center Shifter has a different solenoid then the column shifter and if so, can i get a part number and a place to get it. as you know the FX4 is the Center shift.

Yes the center console has a different solenoid, and its available through ford, I want to say its 80 ballpark of the solenoid and harness.
Takes about 30 minutes or less to install it

The only place to get that solenoid I believe will be from Ford. Doesn't matter where a part comes from, all parts are subject to breakage and wear out. Part # 7L3Z-7E096-A : This an 07 part #, however I believe they are all the same.

Sounds like a situation of who may be building the part at the time, different contractors-same part #. Just a guess...
