i have code P1746 and want to test EPC. I have the pan dropped, negative battery cable disconnected, looking at trans connector. That said I'm fairly ignorant of electrical testing procedures. I know I have an open circuit but before I drop the valve body to replace EPC will someone please explain in detail what I need to do to test the EPC?

Figured out how to test on my own and EPC is bad. Removed VB unplugged EPC and now can't get the dang thing out. Got to give me credit for trying. Large bolt attached to Rooster Comb is in the way but not sure if I should remove that. It looks like it could be more involved than I want. Ideas?
