Will a 2007 5.4 4r75e transmission work on a 2005 4.6? Is it plug and play?

i wanted to do the same thing.

i believe that it will bolt up but you will need a custom tune becuase of the speed pick up sensor is different. a SCT tuner could help you or ask darrin burch

would be a good swap, handle more power. fyi the 4r75e also has a differnt stall TC
