Monster Transmission

Has anyone used Monster Transmission or a rebuild kit from Monster?

I'm thinking about buying a rebuild kit and having a trans builder I know rebuild my 05' F150 4.6L 4R70E

They are junk!! I just returned a 4r75 to them and got my money back. it went 230 miles and lost the direct clutch (3rd). got my core trans back from them and bought parts from PATC http://www.transmissioncenter.net/aode.htm and built my own like I should have in the first place got there 13xx converter and dual pattern flex plate as well every thing is great now. STAY AWAY FROM MONSTER.

is darren still doing them? he turned me down a few months ago. said hes trying to get out of the building business

Thats why I went with patc. I built my own but I have heard nothing but good things about the trans they build. The 2500 stall converter they built me is awesome. Part throttle acts like stock . Stomp it and you get the stall.

Well ****! I didnt know Darren was quitting. I was looking to get a converter from him and one day a built trans... Ill have to check out that PATC company Ive never heard of them.

That PATC company looks like it could be a good place. I visited their website and its pretty impressive.
