I conducted a search and found no info on my particular problem. I can go out in the mroning and start my truck and the light flashes while in park and when i stop at a red light or anything like that as long as im moving it wont blink tranny shifts fine with no problems every now and then it seems like i get a sense of tranny fluid smell but it absolutely has no leaks. Any help would be great thanks Guys. Oh and I did change the engine out not to long ago not sure if that could have caused any issues but it runs great with no hickups Thanks again

 

Take it to a transmission shop and have the codes read,that should give you a starting point. Post the exact codes here because there is some good transmission people here that might be able to help you. And no it's not me LOL.

 

Without knowing what codes are stored nobody knows what is wrong. The auto parts stores that read codes free will not be able to read the transmission codes that are stored.
