Hello, new member here.

I have owed my 04 f150 4x4 since day one. It now has 136,000 miles and I realized after reading a little on here that I am far far over due for some transmission maintance. I have never changed the fluid in the trans nor the rear end of the truck. I have done quite of bit of hauling in the bed and towed a few cars with this truck. I would like to get it to the dealership for maintance related stuff but I'm not sure what to ask for from them?

Ask them for a transmission fluid exchange (NOT a "flush") and a differential fluid change.

 

yes but also ask that they replace the trans filter as well.
