04 trans in 98?
mine has a tag saying pkf-BB big 8B on side. his says pkf-dg1, and he said its out of new style truck. should i just have him rebuild mine? or will this work?

Is it a 4x2? If so no, as the '97s and '98s have a mechanical speedo cable attachment.
