Hey all,

So my 2004 F150 FX4 5.4l has been having a issues with the tranny.
Now for the tranny I am having a 5-6 delayed and harsh engage when i put the truck in reverse. Besides that the tranny works great and runs great, I even tow a 23ft toy hauler with it often. Now they are saying that a delayed engage is common for the f150's which i know there is a TSB, but that its should not take as long as it does to engage. They suggested it may be a programming error and it may also be causing the fuel issue. My question is?

1) Does anyone else ave this issue?
2) Is there a common problem with this issue?

Any help on these issues would be great...

 

I am having the issue with my 04 super crew (delayed reverse engagement 2-3 seconds). Have you figured out your problem yet?
