I have a 1995 F150 automatic. The trans tag say F4TP BA.
Can I use a 1996 F6TP BA tranny to replace it. They are both from 302 5 liter engines. Both are 4 wheel drive. Mine has the electronic shifter the other has a shift lever for the 4 wheel transfer case. I am only interested in the transmission hooking up not the transfer case. I know it will bolt up but not sure about the plugs.

 

They are both 4R70W, both from a 302 4wd, so they should be compatible.
