Hi guys. wasn't sure where to post this but here is goes

Whenever I shift out of park, especially on a cold start or on a hill, as i begin to release the break from the selected shift, the truck makes a creaking sound. I dont know what it could be. On a warm start its not as loud and sometimes doesn't even happen.

(98, 5.4L, 2WD)

Any help would be appreciated

 

my ranger used to do that. honestly I have no idea what its caused from but i know mine used to do that

 

yeah hopefully i can figure this out

 

any other ideas?
