Anyone got any advice on this issue? I just bought an 01 f150 auto with 5.4 Previous owner told me about how to shift truck, youd have to jiggle the shifter and guess the gear, it would say 2 or 1 but would be in drive. Once in drive, the transmission shift great through all gears like it should. But it wont go into park. Either cant shift it all the way to park or sometimes its also hard to find reverse too. Where can i see an exploded view of steering column showing shift lever and such?
