trans problem

I have a 07 f150 5.4 supercharged and today while driving to work i notice that the transmission was not shifting to 4 gear which is overdrive,..in WOT but normal driving it will,..also if I do it manually, it shifts with no problem,..the problem is only at WOT,..does any one know what the problem can be? I have an Aftermarket converter that I bought from Troyer Performance, its a 2800 converter. I checked the fluid and its good,..I smelled it and it doesnt smell burned or anything like that. If any one knows whats the problem let me know.

What's the highest RPM you have seen at WOT in 3rd? Is the ECU stock or do you have a programmer or tunes?

I have troyer's performance tune, and the highest rpm's is 5500 But I have to let go to the throttle in order for it to shift

You need to contact Troyer. Something is not right with your tune, the 3-4 WOT shift point is not set correctly. You haven't been playing with any of the parameters, have you?

I already did and they said it had to be something mechanical, since I haven't change my tune, and I have to agree because it wasn't doing it, it barely started to act up!!

Sounds like a tune issue to me. I'd make Troyer look look the tunes over.
