This sounds like it could benifit you.

The real question is how fast can you have it removed and the new one installed? Is that like a brake job time frame for the rest of us folks.

Transmission is in and test drive was a success.

Now to save up for a 6.2.......

Yea, that guy on LR is building one (6two), that's going to be something..

Yea, I agree ZF! But then again, I think you may have some kind of FATAL attraction with the other.

So if I want a new M5OD-R2 I should start looking at the junk yards? 1st and 2nd seem to be gone in mine. No clue where to get a newer transmission.

I get mine out of junkyards. $400.00 - $600.00. I wont' spend more than $600.00 for a junker. Rebuilt transmissions run about $900.00. Here is a site that rebuilds them. http://www.drivetrain.com/parts_cata...ions.html#Ford
