WTF, I don't get it. The glide in my cobra is rated at 1600 hp and built with the best parts money can buy (The converter is another $1200 custom built job)...........so why so much for a trans that only rated at 600hp!

I was looking to upgrade the trans in my F-150 to handle the power(450-550rwhp) when I rebuild the motor and put a smaller pully on my procharger, I might have to ask my race trans guy if he will do it or start learning transmissions myself considering the prices you guys are getting quoted.
