I have a 1995 f150 6cyl 300, xl with auto trans. Looking to buy a 2000 same model with a bad trans, question is can I install the 95 trans in the 2000?

 

Forgot, The 2000 trans will only go forward. could this be an easy fix?

 

Nope. You have a E4OD. The only 2000 engine that has the same bellhousing pattern as your 300 is the 4.2 V6, and the E4OD was never offered with that engine. There are too many electronic differences to make it a feasible swap. If the 2000 has a V-8, a swap is not possible at all.
