I have been driving my truck aggressively since I completed my 5.4 swap & 4r100...I put a factory tech valve body in it and am really liking it, HOWEVER for the first time today I decided to hold it WOT from a dead stop and see how it felt (acceleration & shift point & firmness) It seemed like it revved out higher than normal, (I actully was worried about the motor at first) (it is straight piped so it might have just sounded higher than normal but it def got my attention), then it did a weird somewhat hard shift I think but didnt feel right, I wish I could explain it better but I really cant and I am scared to do it again. The truck is still driving ok and there are no codes or anything BUT it is holding 1st gear longer even if I am barely on the gas and it is shifting very smooth (like you almost dont feel it shift). It is full of fresh fluid and has been fine for the first 150 miles, I dont think I did anything that would hurt it but something doesnt feel right. any ideas? do you guys think I hurt something?
