Troyer trans cooler measurements?

Researching a new trans cooler

Trans cooler from Troyer $279.99

Anyone have one that can send me the measurements? E-mailed Troyer without response.

Trying to compare it to others.

Great link, Phil - that link is useful just for the content:

"IMPORTANT! The temps should be measured in the pressure port in the driver side of the transmission body. If you are measuring temps from a tee in the output line, temps will read about 30 degrees hotter than temps read from the pressure port."

Millions of automatic transmissions fail every year from overheating. If you tow a boat, trailer, camper or drive in Stop & Go traffic you risk overheating your transmission fluid.

When your transmission fluid reaches 200o it starts breaking down.

Transmission coolers help extend the life of your transmission fluid and can prevent transmission failure from overheating.

At 240o varnishes form and transmission life expectancy is cut in half.

At 260o the transmissions internal seals and rubber parts harden and major damage starts.

Above 295o you transmission start slipping, clutches burn out and carbon forms.

With each 20o drop in operating temperature, your fluid and equipment life doubles.

Installing a cooler before damage starts and by reducing the transmission fluid temperature by as much as 60o can greatly extend the life of your transmission.

Installing a transmission cooler can prevent transmission burnout.

A lot of folks still don't realize just how low these thresholds are.

Thanks!

On the fan thingy - I suspect y'all don't go slowly backwards much

(Although - looking at the size of that cooler, it would support 3 SPAL 6" hi-perf fans.)

My cars will run for 8 or more hours a day at stop & go low speeds (work), or for 10 - 15 hours at highway speeds (road trip). Typical transmission temps for me are at, or about, 200 degrees. I just make sure that I exchange fluid on a regular basis.

Hello everyone, i haven't posted in a LONG time but always come here to research aftermarket stuff for our trucks. I'm considering one of those Derale 13950 elec fan coolers for my 4R75E transmission, and my question is if anyone knows if the kit includes everything needed for the install if purchased it from Summit or Jegs? if not, What else would be needed for the install? Thanks guys!
