New Clutch stuff

Hello everyone,
I have a question? I just put a new clutch, new slave, new fly wheel, and new master cylinder in my 03 f150. After doing this i noticed that my clutch pedal has to be pressed all the way to the floor before I change gears. Is this normal? Is there a way to adjust this. My cruise control is currently not working because the rod behind the petal is not pressing whatever it is that it needs to press to tell the computer to engage and disengage the it. Will fixing the cruise problem return the petal closer to the position it was at before all these changes were made? Hope I'm making sense. Thanks

Welcome.

You should always put the clutch to the floor, so I don't think that is a problem. How far from the floor coming up is it until the clutch grabs?

No, that's not normal. Try bleeding the system some more. Unfortunately, there is no adjustment possible.

Some trucks the front of the master points up hill a little, mines an auto so I don't know if this your situation. Any hoo if it does point up then there could be an air lock in the system. You need to tip it down and purge the air out, then re install it to the firewall and bleed normal. I know at least some of the Rangers are like that but not sure about the 150's.

glc is right, sounds like more bleeding is in order.

Sounds like the clutch needs to be bleed.

Thanks for the info. Climbed under the dash earlier and just reset the took the push rod off the the cruise switch and put it back on. After that the pedal returned to its normal height and the cruise control came back online
