First post and I need some knowledge from you experts.

I know it is popular to upgrade an AOD with 4R70W parts. I think I know the answer to my question, but can someone confirm that the output shafts for 4x4 are not compatible?

I have an AOD from a 'stang that I am going to upgrade and put behind my 351. I am looking for a 4R70W to use the internal parts on my tranny. It would be nice if by some miracle the output shaft were compatible.

Does anyone have a 4x4 output shaft from aod they want to sell reasonable?
