So check this one out for my dad. '07 with 77,000 miles on it, but don't know if that matters. Yesterday it started this. After cranking up the truck, all the lights on the dash do their normal dance, but then the OD Off like will remain on, steady...No flashing. By the time you get to the end of the neighborhood, it will go out. Truck drives perfectly normal and the OD on/off button functions normally. Can't accelerate enough to see if the tranny shifts into OD because the light is out by then. This happens every time you turn the truck off, and the light will repeat that until you drive a little ways. Doesn't seem to matter if the truck is cold or warm, the off light remains on after each engine start. Thoughts before spending an hours labour?
