I have a 99 f150 with the 4r70w and the transmission went out. I bought a 98 Engine and transmission to put in but i noticed the 98 transmission has the gear driven speed sensor on the tail shaft and my 99 does not. Is there a way to replace this sensor with the one like on the 99 or is there anyway to make this work.

Just wondering if this 98 will go in a 99? Thanks

 

i have a 97 with a gear driven speed sensor. bought a 98 and it has the other type of speed sensor.... did you ever figuer yours out???
