I'm putting a used 4r70w in my 94 5.0 flareside. There is different colored paint on different holes and studs on the flex plate and torque converter. Is it balanced? The colors don't match from the new trans to the old flex plate. Thanks for any info- Stewy

 

The flex plate shouldnt bolt on the engine but one way, then the torque convertor will bolt to the flexplate anyway you wanna bolt it the torque converter isnt balnced to your engine, The flex plate is how ever thats why they only bolt on one way
