built trans tips?

my tranny quit on me. its a 2002 f150 5.4 and im pretty sure its the 4r70w. i think its just a seal, but i wanna build it up stronger since its out now. has anybody done this yet? what companies do you guys recommend for parts. is there a kit the covers all upgrades that should be done to this trans? or does anybody know of a good reputable company that builds "bulletproof" trannys for these trucks? i plan on doin some towing and offroading and just want something that isnt going to fail on me again, well, not easily anyways. thank you

I'll probably take it by a local shop today for recomendations. Are any things to watch out for, I'm a green horn when it comes to transmissions?

My old roommate from college lives in Indy, and races a Mustang with a 4R70W. He was telling me about Darrin, and from what I was hearing, he'll be the only dude that touches my tranny. My buddy had a tail housing bearing go out on his(which is a common problem with them at higher trap speeds), and Darrin dropped off a new modified(force oiled) tail housing on a Sunday on his Harley.. That's pretty amazing customer service right there.

I only wish I could afford a Harley. LOL

It was actually a 1995 Honda Shadow 1100 ACE that my wife and I showed up at Luke's place on.
