I have a 99 F150, 4x4, 5.4 L, automatic that is slowly leaking fluid around the front seal of the rear differential.

Does anyone have removal tips,pics, video, etc of the required process to get to the seal?

I have also been told that after removing the driveshaft that the spline should be scored on the threads and the bolt head in front of the seal to insure proper alignment after the seal is replaced and you begin to tighten the nut on the spline to avoid crushing some type of sleeve that is also on the spline.
