I have a 06 f150 5 speed and is stuck in reverse, this is the 3rd time it has done this, The mechanic will fix it but as soon as its put in reverse it gets locked again, (its popping the springs and getting outta whack). Anyways he says i need a new tranny, is there is anything i should try before i replace it
